First Nations National Building Officers Association (FNNBOA) offers a training program to be a Certified Building Inspector. This programs provides individuals with the knowledge and certification to inspect buildings based on regulations and codes.

First Nation Housing Professionals Assocation (FNHPA) offers a Housing Certification designation program. This programs provides individuals with a comprehensive certification course to become a First Nations Housing Professional (FNHP).

The First Nation Housing Professional Association's Train the Trainer program provides information for basic home maintenance. Participants gets theoretical and hands-on training required to understand the basics of home maintanence. The program has a strong focus on prevantative maintenance and practical everyay home maintenance activities.
